Do you stand by the motto, “Life is short, eat dessert first?” We sure do, and we love spreading the news that the gourmet patisserie Vegan Divas wants you to come in to their standalone cafe in Manhattan so you have yet another way to eat dessert first.
Currently, Vegan Divas is available at VeganDivas.com and for retail in New York City and Hamptons stores including Butterfield Market, Citarella, FC Chocolate Bar at the Plaza Hotel, Health Nuts, Garden of Eden and Whole Foods Market.
The flagship Vegan Divas bakery and café, which opened in August 2012, is located at 1437 First Avenue (at 75th Street) on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It will feature a 450-sq-ft cafe and 1,000-sq-ft kitchen.
Helmed by Fernanda Capobianco and Helene Safdie, the bakery gives hungry patrons a new place to sink their teeth into the signature Vegan Divas healthy baked goods and desserts.
Vegan Divas offer an entire line of desserts and pastries that vegan, no-cholesterol, low-calorie, kosher and made from organic ingredients. The menu will offer Spelt Chocolate Brownies, Decaden Chocolate Layer Cake, Detox Trail Mix, and the Time Out New York award-winning baked doughnuts. You can also order a tasty selection of cookies, muffins, cereal, gluten-free chocolate mousse, macaroons, and carrot cake.
The café also offers fresh juice blends and Brazilian coffee and teas, as well as re-useable mason jars to avoid the waste product associated with paper and plastic cups.
